In diesem Vortrag stellen wir euch Fileteado Porteño vor, einen traditionellen Signpainting-Stil aus Argentinien. Es begann vor mehr als 100 Jahren als Dekoration von Straßenkarren, wird mittlerweile geschätzt und ist von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt worden. Die farbenfrohen Schnörkel und die Buchstaben im 3D-Stil wurden zu einem Markenzeichen für Argentinien und seine Hauptstadt Buenos Aires.

In this talk we will introduce you to the Fileteado Porteño a traditional signpainting style from Argentina. It has started as a decoration of the street carts more than 100 years ago and nowadays it got its recognition and was declared as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. It is a colorful scrollwork and its 3D-style letters became a trademark for Argentina and it’s capital city, Buenos Aires.
